exporting problems need advice
I’ve just bought a new Mac pro and a copy of Final Cut. I had some problems when the Mac wouldn’t see all of my RAM and my PCI esata card, however I was still using FCP with no problems.
I sent the machine back to sort the problems out, the machine came back and could now see my full 8gb RAM and the esata card was working, however now when I try and export my timeline as a QT to my esata drive, OSx crashes and I get an error message telling me to restart the computer by holding down the power button.
My first instinct is to send the machine back and get a refund, but I’m wondering if this is a common problem and there’s a solution to it?
Many thanks.
