exporting problem
Hi all,
When I try to export video from my timeline using the compressor to create MPEG-2 files it tells me that it cannot connect to the background process. What exactly does this mean? I have renedered my timeline which contains a simple video and audio track. Any thoughts? -

Yes. Go to the link below and follow the trouble shooting guide. Your problems are originating with Compressor, which you are trying to access through FCP by choosing to export to an MPEG2 format within the program. If you exported a QT movie from FCP and used Compressor as a stand alone app you’d probably still get the same warning dialogue.
