  Exporting PNG files from Photoshop CC 2018

  Greetings,

  I recently updated PS CC18 (latest version) on my iMac.

  I notice when I now export a an image file from a project as a PNG it is only 425kb in size.

  The same exports used to be 1.7 MB per image file in Adobe CC15-17.

  I don’t understand why the images are now being exported at such a smaller size.

  I have a MBP still running PS CC 2015.5 and the same image from the same project still exports as a 1.7MB file.

  The only difference is the larger file seems to include an alpha channel while in CC18 there is no alpha channel being exported with the image.

  I have checked all the settings I know of and still cannot figure out why there is this change to the exported PNG.

  Also, I never export as save for web, just save as: PNG and fast/interlaced.

  Any insight would be helpful.
