Exporting OMF with metadata from Premiere Pro CC
Hi,
I’m investigating PP CC as an option to switch over from FCP7, for our company which works in TV and Film. One of the criteria that it must fulfill is the ability to export the audio as an OMF with the audio (metadata?) embedded within the file. So that when our audio guy opens it in Pro Tools, he doesn’t have to reconnect any files – and I don’t want to have to send any extra audio files to him either.
Now, I researched quite a bit, and just can’t seem to locate a solution. Supposedly using the option, “encapsulate” should work, but it doesn’t.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

How does it not work?
Are you not seeing the metadata?
