    hello everyone,
    just a quick one,
what settings shall i put to export a movie in AE with alpha (tranparent bg)?
honestly i need a quicktime movie with alpha but when i select the quicktime option in the format, the channel option automatically dims the RGB+Alpha option!
what settings shall i put to get the RGB+alpha option active??
    thanx.
    ameer.

You need to select a codec that supports alpha channels. Try Animation.

Open your format option window, select”animation” and “millions of colour+”.Make sure that you click “millions of colour+”not”millions of colour”.then render it.
