yep, understood Martjin…appologies for skewing your thread. seems your issue is not that the export option is not available, but rather that the export fails when working with any IMX format, correct?

we used to use D1’s and never had any issues, however this was long prior to the FCS2 upgrade. all I can report is that I haven’t witnessed this issue as am working exclusively with XDCAM HD.

i’m with Wayne, check your firmware revision … though that doesn’t explain why this issue would have occured in any way as part of a Final Cut Pro upgrade (as XDCAM Transfer acts standalone)
