I have an XDCAM HD project in Motion for lower 3rds. When I export, the title ends up small in the lower part of the QT exported file. I have the setting set for the XDCAM HD codec. Any ideas why I get the small graphic?

Are the Motion Project file settings also set to XDCAM? If not exporting to XDCam could result in making the file smaller… The project properties in Motion also have to be XDCAM to get WYSIWYG..

It was simply that I had the view/zoom set at 100% and was fitting the title to the size on screen. Easy fix. But I did realize I can’t use the XDCAM HD codec when exporting a file with an alpha. FCP does not recognize the alpha. Used the lossless alpha movie. Seems to work.

    Thanks,

Not so fast. Just tried editing the lossless QT clips into the XDCAM HD timeline and I get an error: “Insufficient Content for Edit”. What is that? I tested this on a test project and it worked. What went wrong?
