When i am exporting my timeline using either compressor or quicktime movie, the final output has what looks like scan lines around the edges of the images. usually when there is is aperson moving that persons edge/outline breaks up. It looks like scan lines??
I’m using the best quality export option in compressor.
is there something wrong with my settings?
I can not see these lines when playing back in final cut.

I’m using PAL DV footage, and I’m editing on a mac pro 2.66 processor with 5gig ram, using final cut pro studio2

You are seeing Interlacing,…. it is supposed to be there for DVD and TV use… you have to remove it for web or computer displays
