    Hi

When I import my footage to FCPX I get a dual mono file, with the files I can edit independently. But when I import the same file to RX6 I only get one file? I cannot edit them independently!! This is a problem since one channel is recorded by an on camera mic, and the other on a lavalier. Of course I can edit them with the plug ins from Izotope in FCPX, but I prefer to edit in the stand alone version..

Can anyone tell me how to import the file into RX6 and get two independent tracks, like I do in FCPX??

    Thanks

    Paul

If you ask RX 6 to load a two channel file it’s going to show them to you as stereo. You can either a) just export a new mono file with the channel you need to repair from FCPX or b) select the channel you want to work on within RX 6 by using (could be wrong, I’m not at the computer) command-L or command-R. Check the RX user guide to confirm the commands.
