    Hi,

I have had issues setting up my renders to broadcast.
Circulars objects seem right on a computer monitor but when I import them into flame and viewed in a broadcast monitor they seem stretch. I know the difference between square and rectangular pixels, how ever, I dont know how to set up my render settings… to make it right for broadcast.

    PLEASE HELP

    thanks!

It depends on what format you need to output to. Would it be NTSC or PAL? Are you outputting for HD?

If you are outputting to NTSC or PAL you should pick one of the output presets that DON’T say square pixels such as NTSC D1 or NTSC d1 Widescreen not NTSC D1 Widescreen Square Pixel.

    I outputting to 4:3 NTSC

I uploaded a snap shot of my render settings…. if you cant see it here it is again…

I used these setting following someone elses advise, but the frame is 450 not 486

These aare the setting that i ussually use (see attached)

Yea, in the first image it says your pixel aspect ratio is 1:1 which is square pixel for computer monitors.

The second one looks correct as it is not square at 1:0.9
