  • Exporting from Avid for encoding in Cleaner

I need to encode some edits in cleaner for streaming. The client i’m working for usually takes an avi into cleaner but as avid has a 2 gig limit on avi exports this is not an option. Does anybody go through a similar process using avid and cleaner and know of a good export setting to use from avid???

    A standalone QT movie.
QT Animation is also an option (at 100% it is lossless, but the files are huge)

[jimmy79] “but as avid has a 2 gig limit on avi exports”

It’s actually an OS issue, not an Avid issue…

Are you encoding on the same machine? If you are, try a QT reference.
