    Hey,

I have a commercial I made for our basketball team and need to upload it to Comcasts FTP site. I am unsure of the file requirement that they mention in their brief and dont know the best way to set up the render settings to make sure they meet it.

Here is what the info says:

File transfer requirements to FTP site:

HD – Filewrap/Essence types are DVCPRO100 to FTP file copy LXF or MXF. XDCAM 35 or 50 to FTP file copy LXF or MXF.

I know as well it needs to be 1080i.

    I am using CS5.

Any Rendering setting advice would be much appreciated! Thanks a million!

Render (with fields) to a lossless or mastering-quality codec.

Bring that rendered file into Adobe Media Encoder, and choose “MPEG2 MXF” as your format and “XDCAMHD 50 NTSC 60i” as your preset. You may need to tweak the preset if there are any other specific requirements they have.
