  Exporting difficulties using QT out of FCP 5.04

  My normal workflow for encoding work out of fcp is to export using QT; as a “pointer” movie; and then off-line importing into Compressor for my m2v. Today an 1h 23min movie refused to follow this route; and acted as if I had checked off “make movie self-contained” (definately did not). I ended up with a 17GB file, and a 30 minute export (more than once since I had corrections to make). This workflow is killing me. I am using QT 7.0.4. Any insights?
