  • Exporting “current settings”

    Hello all,

I’m trying to find a way to export a sequence or part of a sequence in “current” settings.
My media is HDV 1080p25 and by exporting current I’d like to get the same footage/codec out.

Is there a way to do that ?

    Thanks !

Not per se, but you can select to use preview files for exporting or select the exporting settings to match.

I see. I found where the “select to use preview is” but how would I select the “export settings to match” ?
    Thanks !

Dont use preview files with hdv footage unless its for a quick revue.
HDV timeline preview files use a preview codec which is of lesser quality.
In the export settings choose: mpeg2-match source high bitrate.
