  • Exporting comp with different texts

    Hello,

I posted this message in the After Effects forum, but were advised to put it in the Expressions forum:

I was wondering if there is any way to export a comp multiple times, but automatically with different texts in it.

So let’s say I have a composition called “Fashion student” with a text layer and I want to export this composition, but in every export I want a different student name in it. Like using an array or something?

Is there a script, preset or setting which can solve this?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jurjen

    Jurjen,

Here is a script for automatic text replacement referencing
a text file. I just used it for the first time the other day.
    Pretty slick.

Wow! This works awesome! Thanks a lot.
But I still need to put them manually in the Render Queue, right?

Yes you would. But if you set up your render settings for 1 comp you can drag and drop the rest
of the new comps into the render Q and they should be good to go. So it should be a pretty quick operation.
