Exporting clip with no sound, will not play on 4K tv because “audio format not supported”
I’m trying to watch a clip I graded, on my 4K tv (Note: I am NOT a professional like most of you, I do this for fun). Anyway, when recording the clip I forgot to turn on the mic, of course, so there’s no sound. I’m exporting the clip as an mp4, video only. It plays fine on my PC but when I put it on a thumbnail drive and plug it into my 4K tv, it plays for about 1 second or so, then I get that error message about the audio format (which is aac, but not being exported), then the clip stutters a bit, and then stops.
Am I rendering in the wrong codec or format?
EDIT: Just tried playing another clip with audio and it does the same thing, minus the error message about the audio, it plays like 1 out of 24 frames for a few seconds and then stops. What format should I be using to play my files off a USB drive on a 4K tv?
