the only suggestion for right now is to deliver in Animation codec until the issue is resolved. Or step back to a Tiger system and keep working from there.

January 30, 2008 at 3:30 amIt doesn’t matter that you’re a FCP user, although I don’t think this issue is caused by Avid’s codecs.
Go to http://www.avid.com/exchange/forums and post in the General Forum. See if anyone can replicate the problem or knows a workaround–there a lot of editors that run both systems (it’s smart to know and/or run both if financially possible).
Don’t be surprised to hear “You’re using the wrong Quicktime/OS for Avid/Avid codecs” because…well, you are. But there may still be a workaround.
