    I’m having trouble exporting from Premiere Pro CS4. I’m trying to export as a .dv or DV stream, but I can’t find any settings for that. It says on Adobe’s site that one can export to .dv, so what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Steph.

    On a PC with the Timline as the active window;
    File>Export Media
    In the Export Settings Window, choose Microsoft AVI as the format and then the appropriate Preset.

    Thanks for the response.

    I’m running it on Mac, and cannot find the format “Microsoft AVI”. Is there an equivalent on Mac, or is there something I need to download somewhere? I just updated it to the most recent version.

    QuickTime NTSC DV. Can I ask why you need to export to a “DV Stream”, maybe there is a better solution

    Thanks for the reply.

    Normally, I would just export it as a mov or directly to another Adobe program, but I have a person that wanted the file as a .dv.

    Also, since you brought it up, is there a better solution as far as file type goes for, say, internet posting? Thanks again.
