exporting as dv-avi
I use Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.1 to edit clips (source can be either DV or HDV)
Do you lose picture quality when you export a clip as a Microsoft DV AVI (when the source is DV)?
Also, is it the same with the Cineform HDV AVI (when the source is HDV)?Thank you for your response.

Yes if you add effects, no if you are only doing straight cuts.
