    Hello everyone,

in my work , I have a setup where connects Premiere to TV to preview the result. In the TV it looks fine, however when i preview in the monitor source in premiere, the quality is not great ( even with the display quality to full) , which i wouldnot mind so much, but we export this quality keep looking bad!! Even if I export with Maximum render quality ON.

If I copy and paste to After Effect, the quality then is good and when I export is good as well.

    any idea?

    Many thanks!

    Hi Victor,

A lot more info is needed to address your problem.

    PC or Mac?

    Video source/format and sequence settings?

Video card, and how is it connected to “TV” ?

How does the video look bad – poor resolution, soft, grainy?

    Thank you

Hi jeff Thanks for your reply,

    It is a PC.

    I am working in a DV pal/ 720×576, aspect ratio 1.09, frames 25 sec

I think the video card is a AJA Kona-SD Serial Digital Framestore. The way is connected is high technical, but as far as i know is based on matrix setup.

I layoff to tape, which when i do, it does well, but when I export into quicktime or even uncompressed there is a pixelation and rasterization on the movie, result from exporting not all 100% quality.

If you need more info, i could talk with the IT dept.

    Many thanks!!
