    Hi

I realise this is probably a very simple question but i cant work out what im doing wrong. I have just finished editing a 3 hour event for a friend of mine and now im trying to export it as a QT movie. However even when i select no compression for the export the file still come out with terrible quality and interlacing> COuld somebody please tell me the best way to export a file that will not loose a lot of the quality but wont be a ridicules size. I have also tried selecting the Deinterlace option but this doesnt seem to make any difference. Could somebody please help

    Thanks

    Mark

If ya mix it down and send it to sorenson squeeze, you’ll have far better handles on everything.
If exporting striaght outta Avid, you prolly wanna use the sorenson codec, depending on where it’s goin’.

There are many to pick from. If ya need a QT, use a QT preset and go from there. Iusually just make wmv files for approvals with squeeze. I like how much it allows me to controlt he quality vs the file size.
