exporting an hour long file not working
well this is the second time i get this.. i have an fcp project thats about an hour long and when i export it reaches about 80 percent done and nothing happens as if it was finished but when i look at the place where i exported the file isnt there.. the only way i can get around this is if i cut the project in half and export indivdually, i have a duo core macbook pro with 4 gigs of ram and 500 gigs of hdd.. what can i do to export it all in one file??

It sounds as if you’re exporting to a drive that is formatted as FAT3, which has a 4Gb file size limitation.
