    Hi guys! first time here!
I want to move a project i did with all linked media to After effects for online. i want to replace the footage with the original mts files.
The problem is that when transcoded the sequence avid created new master clips that have their own time code. is there a way to transcode just the sequence (and not all of the clips) and replace them afterwards with the original files in After Effects?

Im using Avid media composer 6 and Adobe cs 5.5

    thank you!

The timecode of the new transcoded clips (.new) from the sequence should be the same timecode as the original clips. They may not have the same START as the sequence will only transcode what’s in the cut plus whatever handles were set at time of transcode.

If you want to try an AAF of an AMA linked sequence without a transcode, then be sure to check “edit protocol” in the AAF settings when exporting. Also should be set to “link to”.

Tried again in the same project ang got a message about project audio format. But I did try it with a new project and everything went smoothly except for a two frame delay between the audio and the video. Is it a problem with premiere?

    Thanks again!

    Hi guys!
After a short sucsses I’m stuck on this again. Working on a different project again with avchd files. Edited a short sequence with linked to AMA files. But when I tried to export to aaf for after effects I get this message:
“exception: aafConvertCMAudioCodingFormat – Unhandeled audio coding format”
Is it something to do with the project audio settings?
I can’t find any information on this error has anyone seen it before?

    Thank you!
    Shahar
