    Hello all,

I have an RGB precomp that I want to place in the alpha channel for output to Silhouette. It’s a matte layer which will be overtop of the RGB image. I can’t seem to remember how to do this..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks,
    Tim

Change the track matte of the RGB layer to “Alpha Matte” or if it’s just a black and white layer to “Luma Matte”. F4 toggles between the switches and track mattes.

    Hey John,

Thanks for the quick response! I was actually forgetting that I needed a straight alpha for the output.

    Thanks!
