I have 9 sequences edited in FCP 6 @ HDV1080i60. I’ve exported 7 of them (each about 15 minutes long), all using the SAME Flip4Mac HD parameters (I bought the HD upgrade), so that a client can play them on their PC in Windows Media.

    Details:

    Size: 720×406
    1600 kbs/second
    Input: Upper field
    Output: Progressive
2 Pass V.B.R (only accessed after the upgrade was bought)

On half of them (The first 3) everything plays smoothly. Oddly enough the second 4 all have awful horizontal lines that make the files unusable. I have the SAME, SAME unchanged settings i’ve been using all day, for 14 hours so far, so why would I be getting this awful stepping problem for the second half? What are the best settings to output to .WMV if I am doing something wrong?

    ANNOYING!

720×406 isn’t anywhere near HD. It’s not even SD.
