  • Exporting a sequence from FCP Studio in the best quality possible

Please help. I have a 7 minute video that I want to export with the highest quality possible. I used the h264 codec, but it did not come out a clear as the FCP sequence. I know I could use the uncompressed 8 or 10 bit, but then that becomes such a big file.

What is the best setting to use so that I keep the crisptness of this video. I hate compression and would love any help possible.

    Thanks
    Jared

What are you outputting it for? the Web? A DVD or just archiving purposes? Are you scaling it down to a smaller image size, or maintaining its original size?

    More info please…

Try Photo – JPEG, Quality Medium – Best. This is what I use for digital archives and it works great.
