  • Exporting a Quicktime Prores422 file with 3 stereo pairs

I’m trying to deliver a program to a broadcaster that requires me to deliver in Apple ProRes 422 with 3 stereo pairs. However, in Premiere CC, I can only export as either 2 stereo pairs or 4 stereo pairs – there is no option for 3 stereo pairs. In any case, I tried 4 stereo pairs ( with the last stereo pair empty). The broadcaster uses FCP to tech check all files and in FCP, my file shows up as 8 mono instead of 4 stereo pairs. I can’t seem to find a way to work around it.

    Any help pls?

    These are my sequence settings:

Change your channels to 6 🙂

    6/2 = 3

    8/4 = 4

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers
