I was curious as to the best approach/settings for exporting a Quicktime file out of Premier Pro 2.0? I have tried 512 NTSC and ISDN NTSC streaming using the Sorrensen Video 3 codec and the video quality is pretty poor. My .wmv exports look much better. I have even tried setting the bitrate much higher and that does not seem to help. Any suggestions? The final application is to simply run the QT .mov files on an iPod.

    Thanks so much

Premiere just cant do QT well, especially the ancient Sorenson codec. Try the H264 codec.

try motion JPEG A or B instead of sorrensen.

Thanks guys. H264 not much better but Motion JPEG not bad, file size just gets pretty big. But yeah, Adobe not great with QT in general. Actual did get Sorrensen to work decently when I increased size from 160 x 120 to 320 x 240.
