    Hello,

I have several clips that are 10-15 minutes in length that I need to cut down to the individual usable clips. In my head the way I would do this would be to just cut the single clip every time, and export the single clip….rinse repeat…

My question: Is it possible to cut multiple clips and export them at the same so that the export can just do it’s thing all at once instead of me waiting around for a few minutes each time.

I’m using FCP6. Also another quick question. I’m using Pro Res 422 HQ clips, and want to export using the same codec. Is there any kind of quality loss in doing this? The clips are going to be submitted for stock video, and I’m looking to keep the best quality.

Thanks so much for your time,

    Joe

Open your clips in Quickime Pro, and copy and paste the bits you want into new QT players, save as, name and go.

I do this all the time for small bits in a timeline that need smoothcam, saves a huge amount of time.

    Have a wonderful day.
