Exporting a composition
I searched the forum for this but couldn’t find what I was looking for. Is there a way to export a composition from one project, and import it into another and have it work in the new project? I have all the source footage if needed, I just need to get one comp from one project to another.

After Effects can import one project into another [link]. If you want to slim down your original project to a single comp, you can reduce the project [link] first.
Alternately, you can save a couple steps by using the Save Comp As Project script [link].
