    Hello!

I shot and edited a wedding in 720p 60fps. Now my client wants me to export it so they watch it on apple tv. To do so I need it to be less than 30fps. I should have converted this before the edit, right? What do I do now? I really do not want to reedit this beast.

    I appreciate any advice…

    Thanks!

No worries – no need to re-cut! What version of FCP are you using? 7 or X?

if X go Share/Apple Devices/Apple TV and voila! If will pump out exactly what you are after.

If in FCP 7 you can do something similar: File/Share/Apple TV.

With either version you can also do this in Compressor and have much more control over what it is doing – but the FCP Share presets do a great job and keep it nice and simple.

Thanks so much for your reply. I am actually using 6 still. I am going to try compressor and she how it looks. I am just concerned that going down in frames with hurt the quality too much. Always seems like there is something! 🙂

    Thanks again!!
