Hello I’m new to particle illusion and I was wondering how I can export my effects into a .PNG sequence so that it can later be used in Flash. Any help would be much appreciated

Just click the “Save Output” button (the red circle in the playback toolbar), then select PNG as the output type, and check the “save alpha” option in the output options dialog. That should do it.

Thanks alot it works great 🙂 but just wondering… when i do export it as that it saves each individual frame of the animation. Is there a way that I can save it so it runs as one whole animation?

You specifically asked for a PNG sequence. A sequence is a series of images. Your other option is to save as AVI (on Windows) but then you can’t save an alpha channel. On Mac, you can save a QuickTime movie with an alpha channel if you choose a compressor that supports this (such as “Animation” set to the highest color depth).
