Hi… Im having problems when working on a clip in AE and exporting to bring into final cut.

I export the clip with the composition settings the same as my final cut project. I choose uncompressed 10bit quicktime, but when I import it into final cut it appears tiny in the viewer. The viewer is set to 100% but the clip is about 50% the size of the original that I imported into after effects.

    What could be causing this?

    Thanks in advance

firstly, are you actually exporting using File->Export? If so, DON’T! … you should be using the render queue to output your movies … go to Composition->Add to Render Queue

then there are a number of settings you can choose from … if your composition settings are a broadcast preset (PAL, NTSC whatever) then you shouldn’t need to change the size of the output …

have a go at this, then if you have any more specific questions about the render queue then feel free to ask 🙂

    good luck
