Exported video brightened but not when rendered in timeline
Hey gang,
I have a 30p 4:3 clip I recorded from a XL1 to a FS-4 HD. Dropped clip in a DV timeline repositioned video and added background layer (v1). I have a Primatte keyer pro filter and a color smoother 4:1:1 filter on my video.
When it is rendered in the timeline it looks great. When I export to anything at all the video becomes lightened/brightened quite a bit, almost like it has camera gain applied to it and when you see the subjects black pants you can see Gain written all over it.
Any ideas? The only thing I have exported so far with this setup is alpha enabled keyed video but that was using a animation codec and then into flash.

IN the QUICKTIME Preferences, under GENERAL, near the bottom there is a box that you should check called ENABLE FINAL CUT STUDIO COLOR COMPATIBILITY. That should make the color match.
