  • Export without rendering first?

    Hello all,

I’ve searched the forums, but found mixed opinions on this. I’m working on a project in Premiere CS5 that contains mixed formats, so I have some render lines appearing. (AVC-INTRA and some standard def DVD files inside a DVCPRO HD sequence) I can edit the project just fine without rendering. I’m wondering if I need to render before I export to Adobe Media Encoder, or will AME render as it exports?

I’m also curious as to the workflow aspect of this. For those of you who have a heavy workflow, do you render first then export to AME, or not render first?

    Thanks.

Whatever is on your timeline export with Max Render Quality (just in case) and do not use the Preview files. MPE will render new files for you. This will give a better result.
