I have a 1080/30p/48k project, client needs a mp4 file with 44.1k audio for their playback.

Resolve only will export file with 48k.

I created a new project to try and get a 44.1k project but had no luck.

One work around, i created a DnX hi-res master, dropped that in Adobe Media Encoder, made a 44.1 file, however, the video is washed out some.

Anyone have advise on how to export from resolve making the audio, 44.1k audio?

    Thanks.

Did you go to the original timeline settings and change it to custom settings and then tried to change the sample rate? I can’t check now as I’m rendering out a doco but you should be able to do that and Resolve should do a sample rate convert. Alternative would be to drop your DNx render file into a timeline that was set to 44.1 first and not changing settings when prompted by the mismatch.

I can’t see anywhere to change timeline settings, or custom settings, i have tried creating a new project, yes. But again, cannot find an option for audio settings.

    Thank you for your input.

in the early days for Blackmagic Resolve, it couldn’t read 44k audio files, so i wouldn’t be shocked to hear it wont export them. 48 is not typical for video anymore.
