Export vs. Sequence Settings
This may be a stupid question but here goes…
If I set the aspect ratio to 1920×1080 in the sequence settings, decrease the size of 4K footage by half to fit the smaller size, then export in 4K UHD (3840×2160), will the video retain its original 4K quality or would this be the same as bumping up 1920×1080 video?
Why I ask is that I’ve working on a project with 4K footage in premiere to export 1080p but found out today that 4K is allowed.
