Export uncompressed footage from Premiere CS6 to be used in Resolve
Hi,
I have some 5k footage that we are editing on a 1080p timeline in premiere. The reason we did it this way is to reframe the shots in post.
We want to grade in Resolve LIte which can only do 1080p and not 5k. This means that we cant go via XML as Lite only accepts 1080p.
Uncompressed YUV 422 seems good. Any thoughts?

422 means you loose color information- for best results use a 444 format.

Good call. I’d consider using a DPX sequence.

A DPX sequence is way easier to deal with than an uncompressed video file. It will allow you to re-render and color portions without having to re-render the entire film.
