Export to swf file (preserving vector format) ?
This might be a it crazy question but I decided to give it a try…
I have AI files imported into AE. I’m using puppet Tools to make some specific animations such as tail swinging sequence. Is there anyway that I can export them as native swf file (meaning vector format preserved)? I know that Flash has “bone tools” but AE’s Puppet Tools is so much superior that I want to use AE for certain parts and import them back to Flash to be combined with the rest of the animation.

The short answer is “no”.
There are very few cases in which vectors can be preserved on output to SWF. They’re listed here:
