I need to deliver video files to my Screen Titles artist so he can use them in our Title Sequence.

I have a sequence on a time line in Premiere CS4.1 that is made up of snippets of 10 or so large VHS captures (analog VHS captured to .avi via Canopus ADVC-300, NTSC, 720×480).

Rather than send him all the very large capture files, is there a way to export the sequence and send him only the clips (portions of those large files) that were used?

I assume this is something that people do all the time, but I’m having a heck of a time finding a solution on line.

    Thanks.

    Hi Jonas,

Have you tried using the highlight render area bar, render only the portion of the clips you need inside premiere, to NTSC DV? If you have CS4, the Media Encoder will render the clips for you as you prepare the other clips for rendering as well.

    Hope it helps…

I think I may have asked this questions after too many nights of no sleep. Not sure why I couldn’t figure out to just render the freakin’ sequence with Media Encoder (which is what I ended up doing).

Thanks for taking the time to respond to such a stupid question. 🙂
