I am creating 20 to 40 second video clips for a website and posting them using Frontpage. Obviously, I need to keep the files as small as possible to help page loading time but at the same time, I want clean videos too so there is a trade off to a certian degree. Can someone please share what export setting(s) work best for this type of application? I have tried avi and mov but the pages load extremely slow (files come out larger than wmv type files).
    Thank you!!

I use WM9 files. You might want to try Flash?

The problem is that you need to cut down the frame size to as small as acceptable, then cut down the data rate to where it looks unacceptable (then back off by adding more data per second).

It is difficult to tell you how to do this since your footage is different than anyone else’s and what you will accept is different as well.
