Export settings for uncompressed 8 bit and sequnce settings
Hello,
I have three questions about settings in FCP
I work with FCP 6.01
My material was shot in DVC pro HD 720 p 25 PN ( native 25 fps because it takes up less space on the p2 cards )
I have worked with Panasonic HVX 200 E (= Europe = PAL )1. When I create a timeline for my material I can only choose 720 p 50 and not 720 p25 as the source material. Why is this and does it somehow affect the source material.
1. When I export my sequence I have chosen export > using quicktime conversion > quicktime movie > options > uncompressed 8 bit 4:2:2 > settings 25 fps
Size HD 720 1280Unchecked the prepare for internet streaming
I hope this is the best setting for my material but in the export window I see quality set to medium but there is no place where I can change the qualtity setting in the Uncompressed dialogwindow.
Do I get maximum quality anyway ?
And why does this Quality medium appear ?
It really annoys me !I also noticed some kind of interlaced looking effects on the exported material.
It looked like some kind of mix between Interlaced and progressive.
Really annoying but it went away when we did a fieldmerge of the whole material at the postproduction place.Do anyone know if uncompressed can somehow create this interlaced effect ?
