I hope someone can help me with this. I created a video in CS4 in HDV, I need to output using the following specs my client has asked for:

    fullscreen video at 1920 x 1080 resolution,
    Quicktime h.264 – best quality / multipass.
    Sound is 48 KHz 16b.

They are using FCPro Apple ProRes 422 for compression.

Do I use the H.264 Blu-ray setting for output? Any help on what the setting should be is greatly appreciated – or do I need to get more info from the client.

I’ve never had to do this type of output before and I want to make sure I give them the correct format.

    Thanks

    Hi Michael,

You would use H.264, not Bluray H.264.

For best quality, use 20 Mb/s VBR 2 Pass. Make sure you change your Pixel Aspect Ratio to square.
