Export QT movie, FCP 5.0 Crashes
Hello all,
From my Aurora 10bit Anamorphic 16:9 timeline I am having an bigtime export issue when I try to “export quicktime movie.” No matter if “recompress all frames” or “make movie self contained” is checked, or the combo of the two FCP 5 crashes. But if I export the same timeline without the anamorphic setting turned on in the sequence settings, it exports fine.
I know that just the other day I was having the same issue with some Aurora 8bit SD footage as well, just lock up after lock up. I’ve trashed preferences, tried re-setting premissions to my disks, but none of that seems to help. Has anyone else had problems like these, and can maybe offer a solution??

Have the latest drivers from Aurora? Might post this in the Aurora forum too… might be a certain combo of software that works best…
That said, if you didn’t do a clean install of Tiger and FCP 5 over it, that too could be the issue.
