    Hey guys,

Not sure if I can explain this but I would think there’s a feature for it.

I have a huge 100+GB footage file from a green screen shoot. I have used this in my timeline – cut it up to only use certain takes. I want to back this whole project up/send it to someone else to work on but instead of copying the huge footage file, is there a way to 1) Export the cuts used in the timeline in the native compression/raw the footage was shot in (without filters/motion keys applied) -and- 2) Then replace all cuts on the timeline with the exported individual cuts (maintaining all filters applied to the original cuts)?

    Thanks!
    Brian

You can use Project Manager within Premiere to consolidate your sequence, which will use the clips in the timeline, trimmed with handles. However, the clips will be transcoded and not in their native/raw codec. Certain codecs/formats/file-types will be copied in full and not transcoded/trimmed. You have to enable the alpha channels setting to make sure anything with an embedded alpha channel (like a graphic or animation) is properly consolidated.
