EXPORT OF OMF FORMAT FROM FCP 4.5 HD
I have completed a 82 minutes film in FCP 4.5. To mix the audio tracks , I exported the audio as OMF format with 5 seconds hndles. When my sound engineer opened the file he could see only the time codes , there was no embedded media files. Is this because of the 2 GB limitation of OMF format. seeking help on the forum.

you’d know if it was the 2G limit.
it would get to 2G stop and throw up a warning, in my experience,
or maybe not even start? it;s been a while.*was* the file over 2Gigs?
FCP OMFs are generally pretty stable, IMO.
it may be the problem is on the other ends?
does this guy know what he’s doing?nick
