    Hi Everybody,

a question, that is rising during the editing of a documentary:
I place markers on the timeline of interviews and conversations and name them with short key sentences that for conclude the part I am marking, so when I flip through the markers, I can read in one sentence what the part includes.
Now: I would like to export just the marker names – preferbly as a text file, which I can print, so I have an overview for the story mapping of what I marked.
Any chance to do such a thing?
I should mention, I do have FCP 6.

Thanx a lot for help, even though I am quiet certain that this possibility does not exist.

I don’t know if you have the same in FCP 6 but in FCP 7 you can export marker as text files (File Menu > Export > Marker List as Text).
It can then be also imported in Excel.

For documentaries I use Movielogger to manage markers…quite a great tool even if it is a bit expensive….

Yup, just had a look Movielogger is great – a bit pricy though 🙁
And unfortunately FCP 6 is missing the feature of exporting the marker text.
