I’m exporting a two minute sequence from PP to an .AVI movie file using Cinepak codec. In the video settings dialogue box ‘data rate’ settings, I notice a checkbox for ‘recompress’. My question:- What does recompress actually do? I’d like to minimise the file size as much as possible for inclusion on a web page.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Recompress when checked will add additional compression to the clip as it exports.
