Getting this warning when trying to export with the MPEG4 codec (CS5.5):

warning:output file will be resized from 1024 x 576 (1.00 PAR) to 720 x 576 (1.46 PAR) to meet format constraints… problem is the client needs it in this codec at that ratio and not resized!

What’s going on here? Any way to work with this or around this?

    Thanks!

Sure is, export lossless and transcode to mpeg 4 in an encoding package. Done!

Thanks… I juuuust did this. To those following along: I exported lossless and transcoded to mpeg4 in Compressor. Adobe Media Encoder could not do it at a high enough resolution for some reason…

I have had this problem but my comps were all exporting absolutely fine and i must have pressed something and now it is exporting in the wrong ratio! How can I put it back to normal so i do not have to convert afterwards???

If it looks good, look at it.

OMG, I have the exact same problem. I was exporting beautifully and then I don’t know what I hit accidentally, It messed up some settings, No forces my exports to a very small resolution, useless movies,
Can some one help me to return my settings back to normal?
    Thanks
