    Export hd still image HELP

    I have exported still images from hdtv footage in FCP using quicktime conversion for a stills. I then open the image file(TIFF) in photoshop and change my pixel aspect ratio for widescreen to make the image look correct (it looks 4:3 like when I first open it). My problem is when I save the image in photoshop as a JPEG for web it looks like the 4:3 again when I open it. How can I keep the 16×9 look?

    I just tried it.

    You must change the CANVAS size (not just the IMAGE size) to your 16×9 aspect before you re-save it.

    Thanks Matte I’ll give it a try. Do you know what the dimensions should be?
